Paramount Global stock rises on report Skydance may partner on buyout bid

Paramount Global shares rose 3% in premarket trade, as CNBC reported that David Ellison’s Skydance Media is interested in leading a deal to buy the media company. The report said Skydance is working with RedBird Capital Partners and KKR on a deal that would include buying Shari Redstone’s National Amusements, which holds 77% of Paramount’s voting stock.
